About Pflugerville Counseling Center
At our core, we are here to offer a safe, supportive place for healing and growth… Providing therapy in and around Pflugerville and across Texas
Pflugerville Counseling Center began with a simple, shared commitment: to create a space where healing could happen through authentic connection. We’ve grown beyond our Pflugerville roots to provide Texas online therapy for anyone with an internet connection.
We believe that when people feel safe, they can better connect with themselves and others, and more fully understand, accept, and transform their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Rather than “fixing” or controlling behaviors, we focus on understanding them within the context of development, relationships, and safety.
Our Story
When owners Cristy and Darrell Ragland first met—she was working in nonprofit mental health, he was a counseling grad student—they couldn’t have predicted that their work and life together would one day grow into the community that is PCC. As Darrell moved into his counseling career full-time and Cristy was growing her side practice, they decided to work together in their own private practice.
Officially founded in 2012, PCC has grown organically as Cristy’s supervisees chose to stay on board and grow with them. Over time, Darrell has stepped into more of a center support role, assisting in management and PCC tasks. He maintains his LPC counseling license, but is presently not taking on new clients. And today, PCC is a team of passionate therapists offering in-person care in Pflugerville and Texas online therapy for clients across the state.

Who We Support
We support children, teens, adults, couples, and families through a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens. Our approach is relational, inclusive, and rooted in deep respect for your lived experience and nervous system. We believe healing happens when we feel seen and safe—and that relationships, both with ourselves and others, are key to meaningful growth.
Our team also supports the wider community through group therapy, educator and parenting support, therapist supervision, and professional trainings. Whether you’re here for therapy, resources, or consultation, we’re committed to meeting you with warmth, curiosity, and care.
We’re not here to fix you—we’re here to walk alongside you.
