About My Work

I am deeply committed to creating safe and supportive therapeutic environments where individuals can heal, connect, grow, and thrive. The foundation of my therapeutic work is centered on building nurturing relationships, ensuring that clients and their families feel seen, empowered, and genuinely cared for.

With all clients, I employ a strengths-based approach using various modalities to meet each person where they are and support their individual goals. Depending on the client's age, developmental level, interests, and therapeutic needs, sessions might incorporate play, art, sandtray, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and somatic techniques.

When working with children and teens, I collaborate closely with caregivers, providing routine consultations and compassionate support. This partnership helps to ensure that both clients and their families feel acknowledged and valued in the therapeutic process.

A Bit About Me

I am originally from the Dallas metroplex and currently reside in Austin, TX, with my husband and our two-year-old son. I am a compassionate LPC-Associate with over 14 years of experience working closely with a diverse population of children and families. As a former school counselor and educator, I have deep insights into the complexities of child development, as well as research-based supports for neurodiverse youth. I also understand the unique pressures faced by students and school staff today.

My experiences as a mother have given me a deeper understanding of the joys and challenges of raising a child in the modern world. Like many of you, I am learning to navigate a co-parenting relationship and strive to balance professional aspirations with responsibilities at home. I am passionate about continuous learning and growth, both personally and professionally, and I make a conscious effort to implement the tools I share with my clients in my own life.
