A Bit About Me

I bring over a decade of experience as a school counselor into my therapy work, supporting children, teens, and families as they navigate trauma, identity development, academic stress, and relational challenges. I approach each child as a whole person, not a set of symptoms—and create space where they can show up fully and safely.

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” – Maya Angelou

Growth is often uncomfortable—but always meaningful. I believe that, like the butterfly, children and teens can emerge from even the hardest seasons with more strength, confidence, and emotional clarity. My role is to walk beside them as they move through that transformation, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported.

About My Work

I specialize in therapy for children and adolescents ages 4 to 18, and also work with young adults, couples, and families. My work is individualized, attachment-based, and tailored to each client’s emotional, developmental, and relational needs.

With younger children, I use play therapy to help them express what they often can’t yet put into words. With older kids and teens, I draw from CBT, mindfulness, and person-centered strategies to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and self-worth. I also support parents and caregivers in understanding their child’s needs, navigating school stressors, and building connection at home.

A Note From Me

Transformation takes time—but your child doesn’t have to go through it alone. Whether you’re concerned about anxiety, behavior changes, emotional outbursts, or school challenges, I’m here to help support your child and your family. I bring compassion, patience, and deep respect for the courage it takes to grow. My goal is to create a space where every client—no matter their age—feels safe, valued, and empowered to move forward.
