Therapist Supervision

Whether you’re working toward licensure or needing to reconnect with your “why,” our supervision offers depth, support, and room for growth.

Working towards licensure can feel both very exciting and quite daunting. It is a mix so often of feeling so passionate about this new career you have already put so much time and effort into- and a sense of overwhelm- about how to do this work in a way that is sustainable and good for us as therapists (and just as a person)- how to really help our clients, how to sit with so much we don’t know.

We love supervision here at PCC. We believe in creating a space for emerging therapists that is welcoming, safe, challenging, and supportive. We understand that supervision is a longer term, rather vulnerable relationship for associates- we value authenticity and believe supervision can be soft place to land for the harder parts of this work and a place from which to explore and grow- make mistakes- and become.

We prioritize growing and contributing to the field as therapists and supervisors who are doing our own work, untangling bias, working towards a more just, equitable, non-pathologizing field- part of supervision will be an invitation to continue to grow and learn in these aspects.

Supervision includes:

  • Ethics and board compliance

  • Case conceptualization and clinical support

  • “Person of the therapist” exploration (showing up as your full self)

  • Learning about trauma, attachment, neurodiversity and adding skills such as sandtray or expressive arts- as well as supporting growth in your area of interests

  • Julie, Ali, and Cristy are LPC-S; Cristy also provides LMFT-S and RPT-S supervision

  • Cristy’s Group supervision: First Thursday/month, 8:30–10:30am

  • PCC’s Group Supervision: second Wednesday/month, 11-12 pm (we usually pick a topic and deep dive- we just completed reading No Bad Parts- on IFS).

Rates:

  • $115/hour for individual supervision

  • $100/hour for in-house supervisees

  • When available, supervisees can pair up for individual supervision and the cost is the full therapy rate of the clinician split between the two associates ($80.00 each)
