Individual Therapy

A place to slow down, be seen, and figure things out.

Life can be a lot—and “toughing it out” isn’t always the best answer. Why carry it alone when there are supportive people who can help you tackle your challenges with strength and care. Whether you’re facing anxiety, burnout, grief, feeling lost or not quite at your best, therapy creates a space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to heal.

At Pflugerville Counseling Center, our individual therapy sessions are grounded in relationship, care, and collaboration.

What brings people to Individual Therapy?

You might be navigating:

  • Anxiety, depression, burnout, or emotional overwhelm

  • Major life transitions, identity shifts, or grief

  • Patterns in relationships that feel hard to change

  • A sense of disconnection from yourself or your purpose

  • Trauma from the past—whether acute or ongoing

  • Spiritual trauma or growing up in rigid belief systems

  • A quiet desire to grow, heal, and feel more like yourself

  • Understanding your own or others’ neurodiversity, especially when diagnosed as an adult

Whatever you're facing, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

A cozy room with a beige sofa adorned with blue pillows, a plush pig and doll on top. Above the sofa are two abstract landscape paintings. To the right, a white side table with a lamp. An open door reveals a room with a blue exercise ball and storage shelves. On the right side, there is a dresser, frames, and a wall hanging with circular text.

Our Approach

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, we take time to understand your story—where you've been, where you are now, and what matters most to you moving forward.

Our therapists draw from a range of trauma-informed, relational, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. This might include talk therapy, expressive tools like sandtray, or simply learning to notice your patterns with more self-compassion.

Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about discovering who you are underneath the pressure, pain, or old roles you’ve been carrying.

You’re Already Doing the Hard Part

Just by considering therapy, you’re honoring the part of you that wants change. We’re here to support the rest of the journey—with care, clarity, and respect for your pace. Reach out to schedule a session or free consultation. In-person and virtual therapy available for clients across Texas.
